The instructions for installing Book Report can be found at this link: Install Book Report. Below you'll find slightly more detailed instructions.
Step One: Get a bookmarks bar.
A bookmarks bar, sometimes called a favorites bar, is a section of your browser underneath the URL and above the page. The bookmarks bar is normally used to store bookmarks but it can also store small scripts, like the one that powers Book Report.
If you don't have a bookmarks bar, you'll need to update your browser settings to display one The instructions depend on your browser, so please click the link for your browser below and follow the instructions:
If you're using Microsoft Edge, I have some bad news. Edge does not currently support bookmarklets, the technology that powers Book Report. You'll need to install one of the browsers mentioned above.
Step Two: Add the Book Report button to your bookmarks.
Next, you need to drag the blue button that contains Book Report's script onto your bookmarks bar. Click here to visit the page with the button. Click and hold that button, drag it up to your bookmarks bar, and let go. This should add a new bookmark called "Book Report". This is the button you use to launch Book Report.
You have now installed Book Report.
Step Three: Run your new bookmark.
To run Book Report, you need to first load the KDP Bookshelf. That is page on KDP that lists all of your books with covers. You can click this link to go there now.
Once you are on your KDP Bookshelf, click the Book Report bookmark you just added. This is how you launch Book Report. Enjoy your data!

If you're a bit more technical, here's the explanation of what following the above steps accomplishes. This explanation can be used to install Book Report in certain rare situations where the above steps cannot be accomplished.
There are two parts to every bookmark: A name and a URL. The Book Report button is simply a bookmark where:
Most browsers allow you to manually update these values, so an alternate way to install is:
- Bookmark any page to your bookmarks bar.
- Right click it, and select "Edit address..." (or equivalent).
- Change the name of the bookmark to "Book Report".
After that, you should be able to run Book Report by following Step Three from above.
